1. Apply Ice

2. Guava Leaves

Guava is one of the natural remedies for tooth pain because it is a good source of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antimicrobial properties.

Take 8-10 leaves of guava and crush it. Take 2 glasses of water and add guava leaves, 4-5 cloves and 1 tablespoon of salt in it and boil it for few minutes. Now keep it as it is to become lukewarm. Take a piece of alum and stir it 2 times in it. Now rinse your mouth with this prepared mixture twice a day.

3. Amla (Indian Gooseberry)

Amla is also one of the best home remedies to strengthen loose teeth and relieve pain.

Take one amla and cut it in many pieces. Add amla pieces in one 2 glasses of water and boil it for few minutes. Now keep it to become lukewarm. Rinse your mouth with this amla water for few minutes. Repeat it 2-3 times a day. If your teeth and gums are loose then amla water will make it tight.

4. Turmeric (Haldi)

Haldi or Turmeric has an antibacterial property which is the best painkiller.
Take some turmeric and add some water to make a thick paste. Apply this thick paste directly on the area of pain and keep it as it is for some time.

5. Clove 

Clove is also helpful to relieve a tooth pain at home. Due to its medicinal properties clove is effective to kill germs but it takes time. Just keep 1-2 cloves on the area of pain for few minutes.

6. Garlic

Garlic is also another home remedy to relieve tooth pain. It is a good source of antibiotic and antioxidant properties. Also, the Allicin of the garlic is effective to kill germs of teeth and relieve pain. You can chew garlic directly or chop it and keep on the area of tooth pain.

7. Onion

Keep a habit of eating onion daily because onion is also one of the natural remedies for tooth pain at home. Take a piece of onion and press on the area of tooth pain or chew it. In a few minutes, it will relieve your tooth pain. Repeat it 3-4 times a day.

8. Salt Water

Rinse your mouth with salt water if you are suffering from teeth pain. Salt is naturally antibacterial which is effective to kill germs immediately and relieve pain.

 

Tips to Prevent Tooth Pain

  • After having food do not forget to wash your teeth.
  • Avoid drinking or eating hot food right after drinking or eating cold.
  • Brush your teeth before going to bed.
  • Avoid cold drinks because it is harmful to your teeth.
  • Always wash your teeth after having cold drinks or lemon juice.
