People suffering from depression should practice seven pranayama in the morning or evening on an empty stomach.  Those find difficult to practice in the morning or evening can practice during office hours also. Practice at least anulom vilom and bhastrika pranayama for 5-10 minutes each.

  1. Just sit in a Padmasana or by sitting in office chair also you can do it.
  2. Close your eyes start breathing deeply and slowly. Concentrate on your breathing only.
  3. Each breathing should be up to the lungs and diaphragm and not in the stomach.
  4. Inhale deeply and exhale completely with joy. Think you are exhaling (removing out) all your stress, worry, depression and negativity.
  5. At least anulom and bhastrik pranayama should be practice on daily basis.
  6. Should not practice pranayama immediately after your lunch or heavy food. Practice on an empty stomach.
