Cow Ghee Health Benefits and Uses

According to ancient Ayurveda, cow ghee is full of essential nutrients, fatty acids, antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidants and antiviral properties. It is cool, sweet and full of saturated fat. You can add 2 teaspoons of it to your cooked food during lunch or dinner or you can use it in cooking. If the ghee is in the solid state then warm it for some time till it becomes liquid. Keep in mind that if cow ghee is very old then it is more effective and costly.

    I am using cows ghee to lubricate my brain brain nerves remains very tight throughout the day and i can’t sleep.l was taking allopathic medicine for many years .l always feel that my brain nerves have become very dry and my head remains very tight throughout whole night and cos of this i can’t sleep in night .l have tried panchgavya ghee and i have tried ayurghee but to no avail .pls tell me how what should i do as my upper part of brain always remain numb and if i do some mental work my brain becomes very tight and inq the morning also it remains the same.pls help me what to do.

  • I am an obese man, weight 92 kg. And have knee pain, so doctor suggested me to have 1 tbsp of cow ghee daily at night with milk.

    Won’t it make me more fat??

  • It’s also good for boils, pimples breakouts, apply directly to skin where it occurs and also massaging your fatty areas of body part reduces fat from the area. Older the better. You can make it at home unsalted butter, simmer on slow heat for upto 5-9 hours, when the bubbles is on top, sprinkle some water with your fingers then keep on cooking, once done remove from heat and let it cool. Take off the stuff from top. Fill up your jars and let it cool at room temperature and you can keep it out no need to refrigerate.

  • Cow ghee is sold in packets & bottles under big and small brand labels. Which one to take??

    • After several trials I found Sri Sri ayurveda & Pathanjali brands top the list of
      cow’s ghee brands fulfilling all required characteristics.
      Many local and regional ghee, including those from Govt.owned organizations
      are not upto the mark, either due to poor source materials or unsatisfactory processing
